The Bigger Island

Part of Glamp Island

La Pirata Cantina is the wild, public-facing day side of Glamp Island. The resort itself is a private escape — four overwater glass domes, no crowds, no day guests. Come to the cantina for the reef, the food and the rum. When you're ready to stay the night under the stars, the island has a quieter side.

FAQ

How do I get to La Pirata Cantina?

By boat. We're on a private jungle island in Cayo Coral, a short ride from Bocas town and the Cayo Coral day-trip route. Message us on WhatsApp and we'll help you coordinate a captain or arrival.

Do I need my own boat?

No. Most guests arrive with a local water-taxi or tour captain. Tell us your plan on WhatsApp and we'll point you the right way.

Can I rent snorkel gear?

Yes — masks, snorkels and fins are available on site, and the reef is right off the dock.

Do you have kayaks and paddle boards?

We do. Rent a kayak or stand-up paddle board and explore the calm Cayo Coral flats.

Is this part of Glamp Island?

Yes. La Pirata Cantina is the public, day-visitor side of Glamp Island. The resort itself is private — overwater glass domes, no day guests. The cantina is where everyone is welcome.

Can I come for lunch or dinner?

Both. We serve fresh seafood and grilled plates through the day, and the firepit and bar keep going after sunset.

Can I book a private event?

Absolutely — boat groups, birthdays and island parties are our thing. Message us on WhatsApp to plan it.

Is the menu available online?

Yes — the full food and drinks menu is right here on this page, in English and Spanish.

Is it kid-friendly?

Yes. There are easy plates for kids (the Deditos), shallow water and plenty of space — just keep an eye on little ones near the dock.

What should I bring?

Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, cash and a sense of adventure. We've got the food, drinks, shade and gear.
